A Bit About Me
Hi and welcome! My name is Caroline and I am a registered dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (previously the College of Dietitians of British Columbia). I focus on digestive health, endometriosis, and plant-based nutrition. I also have experience in a variety of other areas, including chronic disease management, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), intuitive eating, and anti-inflammatory nutrition.
I completed my dietetics degree with the University of Moncton and have since worked as a clinical dietitian at the Saint John Regional Hospital in New Brunswick, and the Vernon Jubilee Hospital in the Okanagan, primarily in diabetes, oncology, cardiology, and gastroenterology. I also completed additional training in the management of IBS (including the low FODMAP diet), endometriosis, and chronic constipation.
Since 2019, I have been working in private practice, where I specialize in digestive health, endometriosis, and plant-based nutrition. I also bring my past clinical experience in my practice to offer nutrition support for heart health and diabetes management.
In my practice, I use a weight neutral and intuitive eating approach to help people improve their relationship with food and their bodies. My goal is to offer support through sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes, while creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space. I feel passionate about working together to create a personalized and realistic plan that’s a good fit for you, while reducing stress and uncertainty around food and nutrition. It would be my pleasure to guide you through evidence-based nutrition strategies and to explore the tools available to better support you through this journey. I’m also happy to assist you in either French or English.
In my free time, you can find me reading a good book, enjoying a warm cup of tea, hiking in the local trails, or trying a new recipe. I look forward to meeting you!
