A Bit About Me
Dr. Lindsay Porteous is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her medical degree and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Manitoba, followed by a fellowship in Obstetric Medicine at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Since 2016, she has been practicing in Vancouver, where she is known for her thoughtful, evidence-based, and empathetic approach to patient care.
Dr. Porteous provides obstetrical care and performs deliveries at BC Women’s Hospital, where she also works in the Early Pregnancy Assessment and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Clinics. Her clinical interests include maternal medical disorders in pregnancy, infertility, and pregnancy loss—areas where her compassion and sensitivity are especially valued by her patients.
Dr. Porteous is proud to be part of the collaborative and inclusive team at CAYA Health Centre, where she is committed to providing trauma-informed care that is respectful, compassionate, and grounded in safety and trust. She supports women, trans, and non-binary individuals with individualized care that honors their lived experiences and centers their autonomy throughout every stage of life.
