A Bit About Me

I am a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner and I am currently completing my Doctor of TCM training. I am trauma-informed and aim to work with you to promote healing on your terms, for your comfort level, and with full transparency.

I bring an authentic, passionate, and heart-centered approach to my work. Through deep listening and curiosity, I strive to look at each person’s own unique story and understand their health as an integral system of body, mind, and spirit; all of which must be addressed for true healing to take place.

My process always encompasses the mental and emotional side of our well-being and I have devoted many hours to extensive continued education in this area. So often, patients experience digestive issues, chronic pain, insomnia, migraines, and a myriad of other physical symptoms; all of which can be related to chronic stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. In TCM, these conditions are the result of internal blockages which acupuncture can safely work through to promote free flow and encourage healing.

It is an honour to focus my practice on women’s health and working with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I recognize the importance of specialized health care for transgender, gender-fluid, and non-binary people as they so often face multiple barriers to accessing healthcare. I offer positive and inclusive treatments for gender-affirming surgeries, hormone therapy, and post-surgical recovery.
