A Bit About Me
Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I’m a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (formerly the College of Dietitians of BC) and the co-founder of CAYA Health Centre and Vancouver Dietitians. I completed my dietetics degree at the University of British Columbia, and have completed the PCOS/PMOS Training Course for Registered Dietitian Nutritionists, accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
My career began in clinical nutrition at BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospitals, where I worked primarily in gastroenterology and eating disorders. I also worked as a sports dietitian with the Richmond Olympic Oval and Mint Club Athletics, helping high-performance athletes optimize nutrition for performance, recovery, and long-term health.
Since co-founding Vancouver Dietitians in 2016, my practice has focused on eating disorders and disordered eating, PCOS/PMOS, hormonal health, sports nutrition, and sustainable nutrition strategies that fit real life. I also have a strong interest in supporting individuals with ADHD, OCD, and ASD, particularly with meal planning, grocery shopping, executive functioning challenges, and creating practical, achievable nutrition habits. I’m passionate about making healthy eating feel less overwhelming and more accessible, especially when time, energy, and budget are limited!
In my practice, I have seen a pattern of women, trans, and non-binary individuals having difficulties finding comprehensive, evidence-based, and inclusive care. I co-founded CAYA Health Centre primarily to create a space offering safe, equitable, and inclusive care for those marginalized based on gender. I am passionate about working with clients on the root cause of their symptoms, and believe that health is more than just a number on the scale. My goal is to help people heal their relationship with food and their bodies through realistic, sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes. I want to help you find peace with food, and feel good doing it!
Outside of work, you’ll find me trying new restaurants around Vancouver, spending time with my family, or exploring our beautiful province! I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your health journey!
