Effective September 1st, 2025 – Dr. Ulrike Dehaeck and Dr. Lindsay Porteous will be joining our team!

At CAYA Health Centre, our team of obstetricians and gynecologists provide comprehensive care across the full spectrum of reproductive and sexual health. We offer primary, high-risk, and consultative obstetric care, with all deliveries taking place at BC Women’s Hospital. We also assess and manage a wide range of gynecologic concerns and perform surgical procedures at BC Women’s Hospital. Our approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and grounded in compassion and expertise.

*Please note that OB/GYN’s are specialists and require referral from general practitioners, family doctors, nurse practitioners, or midwives. If you are a first time patient of CAYA’s and would like services like a PAP test, STI testing, IUD insertion/removals, pelvic health concerns, and/or other medical services, please visit our general medical page for our full list of services here.

How to Book with our OB/GYN?

BC residents (MSP-covered)

• In order to see our specialists, we require a referral from your family doctor, nurse practitioner or midwife. All referrals are triaged by our doctors and wait times depend on the condition and urgency.
• You will be contacted directly with the appointment date and time when available, and your referring provider will receive notification. 
• Visits more than 6 months form the original consultation require a new referral. 

Non-residents (Private Pay)

• A referral is not required for private pay services. You can contact us directly by calling 236-516-2292 Ext 5 to book an appointment. 
• Fees are charged according to our fee schedule for non-insured services.
